The researcher at the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Engineering (GESSMin) at the Universidade de Vigo, Santiago Pozo, launches SOS murals, a research project on the knowledge of the conservation strategies (cleaning and protection) of urban murals. Paints with different compositions (acrylic and alkyd binders) on supports commonly found in Galicia will be exposed to three different interventions: cleaning, antigraffiti protection and solar radiation protection.
